Dave Collins is more than a great photographer. Our bush wedding, that took place in 2019 at the end of one of the worst droughts our region has seen, was complete chaos. Not only had the bridal party not been able to shower for four days before the wedding, but then on the day it Lnally decided to rain. Dave took it all in his stride, and as the family raced around deliberating over whether to move the venue last minute, he snapped away capturing exactly what we wanted – the essence of the day, the little moments of love and comedy (and drama!), and the people in our lives who matter. Dave’s presence was so gentle and his eye so sharp. We are thrilled with his gorgeous photos and the memories he has captured for us.

Having Dave as our photographer made our day truly memorable. Despite torrential winds on the day, Dave still managed to somehow get amazing photos, and make us look exceptionally fabulous! Not only are our wedding photos really beautiful, but Dave also skilfully captured all the little moments in between, that Tom and I missed ourselves. While we barely noticed the camera was there, yet he worked eEortless all day to catch so many beautiful images for us. Dave’s sweet and calm demeanour put all our guests and family at ease too. He went out of his way to make everyone feel comfortable, and he was a rock for us on the big day.

David Collins was absolutely the Lrst choice for our wedding photographer. I had worked with him professionally and knew his easygoing nature would help us relax and enjoy our special day. And I knew the photos of us would be astounding! What I didn’t expect was how awesome the photos of our guests would be. Years later, I still see David’s photos of our guests used as proLle pics on social media or special event invitations or cards etc. He perfectly captured us, our friends and our day. 5 stars!
